The sales page has some cracking copy on it and we are still tweaking and adding to it so expect to see a few changes to maximize conversions.

How much can you make?

The guide sells for $47 and you get 75% so about $35 a bit less after cb fees.

How to promote?

Well there is a list of keywords on the aff page, and there is so much interest in this niche that articles will work well too and many long tail keywords that you can rank high for!

I wanted to offer a second look at one of my products as I know there are a ton of new DP members in the last 8 months.

The product is my DIY solar water heater guide.

I see great conversions with this product but have limited affiliates promoting.

I have recently added a upsell option on the actual sales page. This has resulted in about 80% of sales being the upgraded option.

If you have a list form promoting something like E4E, MagniPower or any of the other great energy products on clickbank, this converts amazingly with these lists. I have had affiliates convert at better than 1:10 to their lists. (none of august data contains list conversions to the best of my knowledge)

I am happy to announce a new product. It is in the energy
niche but is not another copy cat product.

The product includes 12 DIY guides and is set at $77 with
75% commission. There is an exit out offer for $47. There
is also a $9.99 monthly option.

There are several reasons to promote the new product:

1. Higher commissions with multiple payment options. ($52/$31)($6.18/mo)

2. If you are promoting an energy product now with a review page,
every product on your page is the same. The customer sees
2-3 products that offer the same stuff for the same price
with similar looking sites.

By adding my product, you now have something to
differentiate the products you are recommending. Customers
will have more reason to buy because they actually have a
choice.

Even if you do not put this product as your #1, then you
want it as your #2. However, I would place as the #1 for
the higher commissions. If the customer doesn’t want it due
to pricing, they will go for your #2 choice.

3. It converts! – I have tested so many pricing options and
levels. This pricing structure has converted the most consistant at around
1 in 45. (See screen shot for today at bottom of page)

For those of you that are promoting my DIY solar water
heater guide, you can continue to promote as I will keep
this as a separate product. It is also included in this
product.

4. Refund rates are expected to be very low. Refund rates for my diy solar water heater guide are below 2%.

There will be a total of $15,000 in prizes. The sales threshold is 1800 net sales. The first 4 affiliates to reach these sales amounts will be rewarded as follows.

#1 – $6,000
#2 – $4,000
#3 – $3,000
#4 – $2,000

This may seem like a lot of sales but this is a niche where you can get 8-10 sales per day. 10 sales/day = 300/month. 6 months would be 1800 sales and win the prize money. The contest will last until 4 affiliates have reached the level regardless of how long it takes.

Here is a screen shot of one of my accounts promoting this as an affiliate. You will notice that there is a refund. Someone purchased the monthly option this weekend and then immediately requested a refund. They didn’t even enter their info to receive the guides. Not sure what happened there.

This is one full commission sale ($52.67) and one option sale ($31.85)

I know that lot of you promote energy products. I hope you see the extra potential in this product.
